The Vantage at CityView offers quality Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care in Fort Worth, Texas. We are seeking an energetic, creative, self-directed Activities Director to lead the creation and implementation of prgramming for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing, supervising, and participating in activities in our senior living community.
Other responsibilities will be:
- Conduct individual and group engagement activities for residents as well as assist with special community events
- Plan and coordinate activities
- Plan and coordinate transportation
- Maintain the monthly calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family-centered experiences
- Prepare the monthly newsletter
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with active senior adults and adults with Alzheimer’s and Dementia; be comfortable, creative, upbeat, positive, and happy in working with groups of people; and have at least one year of job-related experience preferably in a senior living environment.
