Arbor Terrace of East Cobb in Marietta, GA

The Memory Care Director/Nurse is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the community's memory care neighborhood, including the delivery of all resident care while maintaining compliance with state, federal and corporate expectations and guidelines. Care delivery will be tailored to each resident and reflect best approaches for those we serve. Main areas of focus and oversight include the following: care management, medication management, risk management and quality assurance, and staff management. This role directly supervises, motivates and encourages all dedicated memory care resident care staff. An unwavering focus on customer service and resident and family relations are critical.

The Memory Care Director/Nurse also plays a key role in the community's leadership and Care Coordination team to include staff training and coaching. A top notch leader of the dementia neighborhood is a strategic and creative thinker with the ability to recognize opportunities for change and quickly adapt. He or she is able to positively influence others in a supportive manner and is customer service orientated with great written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license in the state of Georgia
• Experience caring for seniors with dementia
